MacEwen 3D tested, stock replacement threaded thermal tubes (some also call a heat break) in the correct 30 mm length, in 5 packs. We consider this a consumable, and a must have to keep at the ready. If you are looking to restore stock performance, this is a great replacement tube.
It is the correct length, and functions great with most filaments. If you approach higher temperatures (230 and over), regularly, you may consider looking at all metal solution. You can also just replace, as need with this one. You may also use this early design with Capricorn XS tubing for higher temperatures (up to 280 C). We actually prefer the first generation Creality hotends, for this stock size factor.
We have been patiently waiting an all metal replacement for the stock thermal tube, which is the correct length of 30 mm. When we have it, and test it, we'll offer it here.
We kept the prices low, since this is a needed consumable. Let us know how we can help!
Our recommended installatioin on stock CR-10:
Remove teflon liner in this tube, you can use your ball end allen wrench from your printer. Install ithis tube with the large opening to the top, and smaller opening at the bottom, against the nozzle. Maintain a gap of 4mm-5mm between the red heatsink and your aluminum heater block. Cut bowden tubing squarely. This Capricorn cutter is great for this!. Push bowden tubing all the way into the tube until it bottoms out in this tube, at the nozzle.
