Excellent replacement

would recommend polishing with toothpaste and a toothbrush to remove some of the machining dust to keep the filament clean.

Nice Extruder Gear!

A very nicely made tool steel extruder gear. It was a drop in replacement for the original brass gear on my Creality Ender 3 Pro.

Works better than expected.

My previous setup was a stock except a capricorn ptfe tube. I had limited success printing tpu if I ran it really slow and turned off retractions. Even then with longer prints the filament would end up coiling and jamming. I gave this extruder a shot after seeing it used in a youtube video. terations to the stock hardware or firmware needed. I've completed about 6 good sized tpu prints since installing with no issues. I also updated my print profile to just use my PLA settings and just changing my hot-end temps (retractions are on). I can't imagine running my setup without this extruder. I didn't have to do anything drastic to make it work like altering my machine to do direct drive or having to load special firmware to support a complicated extruder etc... Read Less

Too aggressive for PETG

Bought this to replace my worn brass gear. At first all was well then part way up the print I started having weird extrusion issues and I've been chasing them for a week. I will switch it and hope I'm good. It works too well and partly shreds the e-sun PETG, no other filaments tested. Your mileage may vary. Read Less
