We are pleased to add Capricorn Brand Bowden tube to our recommended CR-10 printer upgrades.

This TL series is made with a larger inner diameter, to accommodate tighter bends, and slightly larger filaments, such as wood fills, or less precise economy filaments. 

In a nutshell, this tubing is able to withstand higher temperatures, longer than economy white Bowden tunbi.  It's slicker, and stiffer than standard Teflon/PTFE tubing.  It holds tighter tolerances, and has very good consistency on the inner and outer diameters.  A tighter inner diameter means you can lower your current retraction distance.  It's much more durable, and stiffer than common white teflon tubing.  This tubing can help your hotend perform better and more consistently at higher temperatures.  Most CR-10's have a passthrough hotend, which means the Bowden tube passes through the length of hotend, right to the brass nozzle.  Using this high temperature tubing can eliminate the need for all metal thermal tubing.  This is an excellent upgrade for stock CR-10's, S4, S5, as well as other printers.  Free Capricorn sticker is included with each length of tube.

2.0mm ± 0.05mm Inner Diameter ensures you can print chunky or out of spec filaments with ease. We recommend TL series for printing extremely chunky filaments such as Filamentum Timberfill. 

Because of its translucence, you can see the filament inside, and diagnose any issues that way.  This works great in our S4 and S5 CR-10 printers. (works in any printer traditional white economy Bowden tubing.)

High Temperature Resistance due to using only the highest quality PTFE.  Capricorn XS tubing will operate at even higher temperatures than our TL. See Capricorn SAFETY page for more details about high temperature printing.  The melt temperature for XS tubing is 360 C.  The melt Temperature of TL tubing is 300 C.
