It's unfortuntate that disaster can strike. A print can fail, and leave a large glob of plastic on your hotend. More often then not, this can be removed, carefully. Sometimes, you wind up with a mess, you'd rather not deal with.
MacEwen 3D has you covered. Here is a complete hotend assembly, including thermistor, and heater cartridge. You can just screw this in place of your old one, and be on your way. You will have to rejoin the ends of wire to you stock harness. Feel free to ask us for recommendations on wiring. We are here to help.
Many people have managed to break off a thermal tube inside, attempting to replace it. We offer a kit for proper removal without breakage.
1) Remove hotend from your print head carriage. Loosen set screw on heatsink, near tube. Use two M6 nuts. Tighten them against each other, and use the inside nut to unscrew tube (using a wrench), or outer nut to reinstall. Remeber, "Righty tighty, Lefty Loosey".
This hotend is the stock hotend for CR-10, CR-10-S4, and CR-10-S5 3D printers.
